Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic Events Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Raffles Hotel Jeddah in Saudi Arabia. As an Events Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing a wide range of corporate events with precision and finesse. Your role will involve coordinating all aspects of event planning, from venue selection to logistics, catering arrangements, and audiovisual requirements. Building strong relationships with vendors and suppliers will be crucial as you strive to deliver seamless experiences for our clients and guests.

Your responsibilities will include developing event budgets that balance cost-effectiveness with high-quality standards, collaborating with internal teams to align event objectives with successful outcomes, negotiating contracts with venues and suppliers after conducting site inspections, managing on-site event operations smoothly while resolving any issues promptly, conducting post-event evaluations to prepare comprehensive reports for stakeholders, staying updated on industry trends to enhance event offerings continually, maintaining detailed event documentation accurately including contracts and timelines.

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, you should have a Diploma in Tourism, Hospitality Management or Events Management along with a minimum of 3 years' experience in group coordination or 1 year of similar experience demonstrating a proven track record. Excellent communication skills in English are essential along with proficiency in MS Office suite - particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Strong organizational skills combined with the ability to multitask effectively are required traits along with demonstrated problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed is also expected.
