As an Electrical Engineer at Air Products, you will play a crucial role in providing engineering evaluation and determinations for all electrical troubleshooting, maintenance, calibration, repair, and test activities. You will issue technical direction and guidance while overseeing Inspection & Quality Assurance initiatives to ensure the highest standards are met. Additionally, you will lead in offering engineering support and guidance during the construction and commissioning of our plants.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate documentation of the plant's electrical equipment and validating single-line electrical drawings for the plant's electrical distribution systems. You will also lead in performing electrical system studies such as short circuit analysis, load flow analysis, transient motor start analysis, protection relay coordination, arc flash analysis, among others. Your expertise will be crucial in establishing appropriate protective device settings to ensure the safety and efficiency of our operations.

Key Job Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering
  • Experience in troubleshooting, maintenance, calibration, repair, and test activities
  • Experience in construction and commissioning of plants
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Knowledge of short circuit analysis, load flow analysis, protection relay coordination
  • Familiarity with arc flash studies
