In this role, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth analysis of our R&D portfolio, managing strategic planning, and overseeing budgeting processes for our global research centers. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will optimize performance and resource allocation to ensure alignment with corporate objectives. Your strategic insight will drive informed decision-making and value realization from technology and innovation investments. Additionally, you will oversee financial planning and accounting processes related to R&D projects.
Key responsibilities include conducting strategic analysis of R&D initiatives, leading technology strategy development across global research centers, ensuring value realization through robust analysis and reporting, developing long-term R&D roadmaps, integrating sustainability goals into projects, implementing innovation scorecards for performance tracking, overseeing stage-gate execution for due diligence purposes, driving organizational change leadership aligned with strategic objectives, collaborating on planning and budgetary processes with global research centers, and conducting market research using qualitative and quantitative methods.
To qualify for this position, you must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with at least 5 years of experience as a Portfolio Analyst or similar role in a technology company. Proficiency in performance management tools including dashboards and metrics is essential. Excellent communication skills are required to present complex data clearly. A strong understanding of R&D processes and innovation strategies is necessary along with proficiency in statistical analysis tools and data visualization software. An analytical mindset with attention to detail is ideal for translating data into actionable strategies.
