Senior Planning Specialist

The Senior Planning Specialist will report directly to the Planning Manager and play a crucial role in developing and executing strategic plans within Demand & Supply Planning. Responsibilities include utilizing historical data, market trends, and inputs from sales and marketing teams to develop accurate forecasts for products across global markets. The ideal candidate will monitor demand forecast accuracy, coordinate planning activities with the region (KSA), and identify opportunities for process improvement. Additionally, they will work closely with sales colleagues to ensure service delivery aligns with forecast accuracy.

Key accountabilities for this role also include coordinating monthly demand planning cycles, maintaining stock keeping unit parameters in ERP systems, performing detailed inventory analysis, and working with supply chain functions to prevent future inventory losses. The Senior Planning Specialist must possess at least 5 years of experience in Demand & Supply Planning within the retail or FMCG industry, along with proficiency in MS Office skills, ERP systems knowledge, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work within given schedules.

• Minimum 5 years of Demand & Supply Planning experience in Retail
• Proficiency in both verbal and written English
• Strong Analytical skills
• Undergraduate Degree

• Utilize historical data, market trends, and inputs from sales and marketing teams to ensure region (KSA) develop accurate and timely forecasts
• Coordinate planning activities with region (KSA) within the company
• Create models, procedures and databases for data reporting and assimilation after aligning with line manager
• Closely monitor inventory levels and highlight and/or coordinate with Purchasing team in KSA for replenishments
