Our client, a prominent leader in the MedTech industry, is seeking a dedicated Country Manager to join their dynamic team in Saudi Arabia. As the Country Manager, you will be entrusted with overseeing all portfolio-related activities within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Your role will involve developing and executing strategic business initiatives to drive growth and success in the region. You will play a pivotal part in shaping our regional business landscape while ensuring alignment with our global company goals.
In this role, you will define objectives, strategies, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the region in line with our company's overarching goals. You will establish effective business management practices by conducting regular formal review meetings with various departments and external partners. Team development is crucial, as you will be responsible for hiring new team members, providing coaching sessions to direct reports, setting performance goals, and implementing improvement plans when necessary. Collaboration with internal support functions on a global scale is essential for successful forecasting and planning processes.
The ideal candidate for this position should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a life science field, with at least 10 years of experience in senior management roles within the international MedTech or Life Science industry. Proficiency in Cardiovascular/Vascular segment know-how is preferred. Excellent networking skills and established industry connections are vital for this role. Additionally, strong distributor management experience within KSA and the broader GCC area is required. Fluency in Arabic and English is essential, with knowledge of additional European languages being advantageous. This role requires significant travel commitments, with at least 50% of your time dedicated to traveling.
