We seek a high-performing Sales Manager who can take our sales strategy to the next level. The successful candidate will seamlessly meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. The Sales Manager’s responsibilities include overseeing all sales team activities, motivating sales representatives, and ensuring the team meets its targets. In addition, will be responsible for meeting annual targets, building relationships, and understanding customer trends. To succeed in this role, you must have exceptional communication and negotiating skill
Experience as sales Manager in a FMCG for a period of no less than15 years
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market share in the poultry industry.
2. Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and collective targets.
3. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and industry partners.
4. Identify emerging market trends and opportunities, and adjust sales tactics accordingly.
5. Analyze sales data and market insights to optimize pricing, product offerings, and promotional activities.
6. Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to launch new products and enhance existing offerings.
7. Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports to senior management.
8. Stay informed about industry regulations and compliance requirements affecting poultry sales.
9. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote products.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
2. Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles within the poultry or FMCG sector.
3. Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
4. Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective sales plans.
5. Strong analytical abilities to interpret sales data and drive data-driven decisions.
6. Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
7. Knowledge of regulations.
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
