As a Restaurant General Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and profitability of the restaurant by overseeing both front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) operations.
In this role, your responsibilities will include contributing valuable insights to strategic plans, developing action plans for daily tasks, implementing production and quality standards, resolving team issues and guest complaints promptly, and executing changes directed by senior management. You will be tasked with managing daily restaurant operations within set budgets and procedures, ensuring compliance with SOPs and employee handbooks. By focusing on operational execution with attention to detail and adherence to standards, you will aim to maximize profits while minimizing costs effectively.
As the Restaurant General Manager at MIMOSA, you will oversee various aspects such as product quality, staff health and safety, service standards, maintenance of facilities/equipment, communication between BOH and FOH staff members, staffing levels optimization, opening/closing procedures adherence, staying updated on services/formulas/beverages/policies/promotions within the restaurant. Additionally, you will review daily logbooks diligently and provide monthly reports to the Managing Director covering sales performance, guest satisfaction levels, actual versus forecasted results analysis along with operational concerns/suggestions for enhancements.
