Job Description
As the Director of Revenue, you will play a crucial role in supporting Faena Hotels by monitoring business thresholds to drive financial improvements. You will provide analysis on occupancy, average rate, and rooms profit goals while participating in revenue management strategies. By analyzing monthly STAR Reports and industry trends, you will identify opportunities to enhance revenue across the portfolio. Additionally, you will lead forecasting processes and support the Annual Operating Plan for Faena.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Faena Hotels by monitoring business thresholds for financial improvements.
- Analyze short-term decisions affecting occupancy and revenue goals.
- Review STAR Report results to predict future outcomes.
- Collaborate with marketing to drive demand during peak periods.
- Lead monthly forecast reviews for accuracy across all hotels.
- Develop and execute strategic plans for the department annually.
- Train sales and front office teams on revenue management principles.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have 2 to 5 years of experience as a Director of Revenue in a 5-star property or similar establishment. Proficiency in Excel, brand systems, Opera, and Delphi is preferred. A college degree (BS/BA) is also desirable. Strong problem-solving skills, numerical analysis abilities, communication skills, and flexibility are essential for success in this role.
