As the Tax and Finance Business Partner, you will serve as the primary advisor to the sales leadership team, offering insights to drive growth, profitability, and tax efficiency. You will work closely with sales, legal, and operational teams to understand business strategies and provide guidance on financial implications, tax exposure, and opportunities. Additionally, you will oversee tax planning for sales transactions, ensure compliance with tax laws at all levels (local, state, federal, international), manage indirect taxes associated with sales activities, and lead financial reporting processes for the sales division.
Collaboration is key in this role as you will work closely with the broader finance team to align on financial policies, tax strategies, and cash flow management related to sales activities. You will also provide strategic recommendations to senior management on optimizing the financial and tax aspects of sales while mentoring junior team members to foster continuous improvement within the finance team.
The ideal candidate for this position is a Qualified Chartered Accountant with a minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience in Finance Business Partnering and Taxation within the manufacturing sector. A qualification in CFA or a degree in Business Administration would be advantageous. Candidates should possess proven experience working with sales organizations, influencing non-finance stakeholders, an in-depth understanding of domestic and international tax regulations, as well as experience in tax planning for sales transactions.
