As the Head of Research & Development, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing the R&D strategy that aligns with our company's goals and market needs. You will lead the formulation, design, and development of new products while managing and optimizing the R&D budget to ensure cost efficiency and timely project delivery. Collaboration with cross-functional teams including regulatory, quality, and manufacturing departments will be essential to ensure project success and compliance with regulatory standards. Additionally, monitoring industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities will be key responsibilities in this role.

To excel in this position, candidates must possess a Master’s or PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences or a related field along with a minimum of 20 years of experience in research & development roles within the Pharmaceuticals industry. A proven track record of successful product development and commercialization is required, as well as at least 15 years of experience in regulated market formulation development. Knowledge of DMF, CTD, cGMP/GLP, EU/ US FDA/ GCC/ SFDA/ ICH regulations and guidelines on drug development is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP or other ERP systems is necessary for this role.
