We are currently seeking an Organizational Development Specialist to join our team and play a pivotal role in analyzing, planning, and implementing strategies that will enhance the structure, culture, and performance of our department.
As the Organizational Development Specialist, you will be responsible for optimizing departmental structures by assessing current workflows and processes. You will develop strategies to streamline operations, improve team alignment with organizational goals, and design clear organizational charts outlining roles and responsibilities. Additionally, you will lead change initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness, facilitate smooth transitions during structural changes, and create communication plans to ensure transparency and employee buy-in.
Furthermore, you will identify skill gaps within the department, collaborate with HR to design professional development programs, and develop succession planning strategies for key roles. You will establish metrics to measure departmental and individual performance, facilitate the creation of clear performance goals, assess progress regularly, and recommend interventions to address performance challenges. Moreover, you will promote a positive and inclusive culture within the department by conducting employee surveys, addressing morale or engagement issues through initiatives that foster collaboration, innovation, and employee satisfaction.
Ideal candidates for this position should have a Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development or related field along with 2+ years of experience in organizational development or human resources. Strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, proficiency in organizational design principles and tools are essential qualifications. Certifications in OD or change management are preferred along with experience in conducting training sessions/workshops and familiarity with HRIS systems.
