As the Chief Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day execution of general ledger impacted processes within the Finance and Accounting department. Your responsibilities will include account balancing, ledger reconciliation, reporting, discrepancy resolution, and collaborating with clients and departments to ensure smooth financial operations. You will work closely with other team members on general ledgers, subsidiary ledgers, and related reporting activities to maintain accurate financial records.

The ideal candidate for this position should possess a 4-year bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting (or a related major) with no work experience required. You will be responsible for coordinating and implementing accounting projects as assigned, conducting Accounting SOP audits across the property areas, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, generating timely reports, analyzing information to solve problems efficiently, balancing credit card ledgers, verifying contracts for groups, and maintaining strong operational control environments to safeguard assets. Additionally, you will demonstrate proficiency in various accounting tasks such as return check procedures, Gross Revenue Report analysis, write-off procedures, consolidated deposit procedures, and staying updated on industry-related knowledge.
