We are currently seeking a Director of Communications to join our team in West Arabia (Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Levant, Iraq, and Egypt). The ideal candidate will be an experienced communications professional with a proven track record of strategic communication within organizations. Reporting to the Communications Vice President for West Arabia in Riyadh, this role will focus on building and defending the reputation of Mastercard in the region.
As the Director of Communications for West Arabia Division, you will be responsible for leading all communication efforts including External and Media Communications, Social and Digital Media Management, Internal Communications, CSR initiatives, and Event Management. You will work closely with senior management teams to provide strategic counsel on business initiatives while ensuring best-in-class communication practices. Additionally, you will collaborate with Marketing to enhance brand visibility through effective social media strategies.
The ideal candidate for this position should have at least 7 years of experience in corporate communications or related fields. Excellent writing skills in English are essential along with a deep understanding of the cultural landscape of West Arabia. You should be able to demonstrate your ability to lead successful communication programs that support business growth within a dynamic corporation.
