As the Business Development Manager for the MENA region, your primary responsibility will be to drive Minopex's growth strategy by identifying, sourcing, securing, and expanding new business opportunities. You will play a crucial role in developing strategic relationships with key stakeholders such as potential clients, partners, and industry influencers. Your focus will be on closing deals that align with our company’s growth objectives while being based at our office in Saudi Arabia and traveling frequently across the MENA region.
Key duties include proactively identifying new business opportunities within the MENA region, maintaining strong stakeholder relationships, preparing high-quality technical and commercial proposals tailored to client needs, conducting market research to identify growth opportunities, managing customer information using CRM tools like Salesforce, collaborating with internal teams on business development strategies, leading negotiations with prospective clients ensuring favorable contract terms for Minopex. Additionally representing Minopex at industry events and providing regular reports on business development activities to the Vice President of the MENA Region.
To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering; an MBA is advantageous. You must have at least 10 years of experience in a related field with a proven track record of success in business development within the minerals processing or mining services sector. Strong commercial acumen along with exceptional communication, negotiation skills are essential. Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic or French is an added advantage due to extensive travel across the MENA region.
