Accounting Manager

As an Accounting Manager at National Water Company, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department. Your responsibilities will include managing month-end and year-end processes, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger maintenance, payroll processing, and utilities tracking. You will also be responsible for treasury functions such as budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, trust account statement reconciliations, check runs, fixed asset activity monitoring, and debt activity management.

In this role, you will be expected to monitor and analyze accounting data to produce accurate financial reports or statements. You will establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles within the organization. Additionally, you will coordinate and oversee annual audits while providing recommendations for process improvements. Assigning projects to staff members and ensuring compliance with established procedures are essential aspects of your responsibilities as an Accounting Manager. By maintaining fiscal files and records meticulously documenting transactions accurately, you will contribute significantly towards meeting our financial accounting objectives.
