We are currently seeking a Senior Project Manager - Desalination to join our dynamic Water Supply department. Reporting to the Project Director Desalination, this role plays a crucial part in designing, constructing, and installing various water assets across the NEOM region to meet diverse water demands.
The Senior Project Manager will oversee multiple projects within the Water Supply department, ensuring successful completion within scope, schedule, and budget. Responsibilities include planning, organizing, executing, and managing projects related to water production and desalination. From upgrading existing desalination plants to constructing new facilities such as jetties and post-treatment centers, this role involves stewarding works programs through various phases like specification, construction, commissioning, and handover.
Key competencies for this role include project controls management, contractor oversight and coordination on-site, performance monitoring against deliverables and milestones, as well as claims management with support from the Water Contracting Group (WCG). The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of relevant professional experience along with a degree in a relevant field or equivalent qualification. Professional certifications in project management are preferable for this position.
