Commercial Director

We are currently seeking a Director of Commercial & Reporting for our Transport portfolio. This pivotal role requires a strategic and detail-oriented individual to develop and implement commercial strategies that maximize value and ensure successful project execution. Working closely with project stakeholders, you will define reporting standards and processes to enhance transparency and decision-making, guiding complex transport projects towards our overarching vision.

As the Director of Commercial & Reporting, your responsibilities will include developing and executing commercial strategies for transport projects in alignment with corporate objectives. You will oversee the reporting framework for transportation initiatives, providing essential insights to senior management. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will establish project performance metrics and reporting standards while engaging external partners to negotiate contracts and manage commercial relationships. Monitoring project budgets, forecasts, and expenditures will be crucial to ensuring financial accountability while providing leadership and mentorship to foster a high-performance culture within the commercial and reporting teams.

To excel in this role, you must possess a minimum of a bachelor's degree in Finance, Quantity Surveying or Economics (Master's degree preferred) along with at least 15 years of relevant experience in commercial management within the transportation or infrastructure sectors. Strong knowledge of transport project management practices is essential, as is a proven track record in financial forecasting, budgeting, and reporting. Exceptional negotiation skills, analytical abilities, problem-solving capabilities, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to influence stakeholders at all levels effectively.

This position is not remote but offers an attractive tax-free package equivalent to around 200,000 - 250,000 per annum (inclusive of accommodation and travel).
