As the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for leading and directing all commercial activities for large-scale PMC projects. This includes developing and managing commercial strategies such as contract negotiation, administration, risk management, and cost management to control costs while maintaining high-quality standards. Collaboration with project managers, clients, consultants, and stakeholders will be crucial to ensure alignment on commercial objectives and deliverables.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or quantity surveying, along with 25+ years of experience in commercial management focused on PMC projects. Professional certifications such as RICS, CIArb, CIOB are essential. Strong leadership skills are required to manage large commercial teams effectively across complex projects. Additionally, expertise in contract negotiation, claims management, dispute resolution, stakeholder relationships, industry regulations applicable to large-scale projects in the Middle East region are key qualifications for this role.
