The Commercial Director will play a pivotal role in planning, directing, and coordinating day-to-day commercial operations while formulating strategies with the Commercial team to provide overall direction. This position involves managing contract negotiations, building strong stakeholder relationships, conducting market research, overseeing financial performance, and implementing governance frameworks to mitigate risks associated with commercial contracts.

The ideal candidate for this role must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management, with preference given to those affiliated with the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors. A minimum of 15 years of experience in commercial leadership roles within the Construction Industry is required, particularly with Tier 1 Consultancy firms. The successful candidate should demonstrate a proven track record of successful contract negotiations and commercial strategy development. Exceptional analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, decision-making prowess, outstanding communication skills, and relationship-building expertise are essential qualities for this role. Proficiency with commercial management tools and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is necessary to excel in this position.
