Project Director - Utilities

As the Project Director for Utilities at Qiddiya, your primary responsibility will be to lead the strategic planning and execution of projects related to utilities, ICT, and fiber optics within our development. This entails developing project scopes, budgets, and timelines while adhering to best practices in project management. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders such as utility providers and technology vendors to ensure seamless project delivery. Monitoring project progress, performance metrics, and quality control will be essential to guaranteeing timely completion within budget constraints.

In addition to overseeing project execution, you will be expected to identify and address potential risks proactively by implementing effective solutions. Emphasizing innovation throughout all stages of projects is paramount; therefore, exploring new technologies and methodologies to enhance outcomes is encouraged. We are looking for candidates who hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related fields along with 15+ years of experience in project management specifically within utilities or ICT sectors. A proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale projects from inception to completion is required. Strong knowledge of utility systems, ICT infrastructure, and fiber optics technology is essential for this role. Possessing excellent leadership qualities coupled with exceptional communication skills is crucial for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and external vendors. While not mandatory but preferred qualifications include holding a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar credentials.
