As a Specialist Materials Management, your main responsibilities will include coordinating and organizing all tasks related to stores and procurements to achieve management objectives. You will review and approve original provisioning orders within authority limits, ensuring provisions for all required materials are in compliance with relevant regulations. Additionally, you will oversee AOG (Aircraft on Ground) orders by reviewing and approving them promptly, maintaining follow-up activities for timely completion, and verifying warranty claims from users.
Furthermore, you will be responsible for managing repair assignments by ensuring timely completion, verifying accuracy of printed-data for repair orders, monitoring turn-around times for repairable items, and coordinating the transfer of scrap material to the surplus warehouse. Your role will also involve approving invoices within authority limits for materials borrowed or AOG materials. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Aviation Engineering or a related field is required for this position.
