Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team at Segadty. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing financial accounts, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and extensive experience in financial accounting.
Experience in managing financials for an online business is highly preferred.
Experience working with companies using platforms like Zid or Salla is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage Financial Accounts:
Prepare monthly and annual financial statements.
Review and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
Prepare Financial Reports:
Generate periodic financial reports for management.
Analyze financial results and provide recommendations for improvement.
Ensure Compliance:
Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards.
Prepare necessary documentation for tax compliance.
Manage Accounts Payable and Receivable:
Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable.
Ensure timely payment of invoices and collection of payments from customers.
Budget Preparation:
Participate in the preparation of the annual budget.
Monitor spending and ensure adherence to the budget.
Cash Management:
Monitor cash flows and ensure the availability of cash for operations.
Financial Data Analysis:
Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide strategic recommendations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a similar role as a Senior Accountant.
Strong knowledge of local and international accounting standards.
Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
