As a Site Civil Engineer at Shade Corporation LTD., you will play a pivotal role in managing and directing staff members involved in construction, operations, or maintenance activities at project sites. You will provide technical advice on design, construction modifications, and structural repairs to ensure projects meet industry standards. Your responsibilities will include inspecting project sites for progress monitoring and compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.
In this role, you will estimate quantities and costs of materials, equipment, and labor to evaluate project feasibility. Testing soils and materials for foundation strength, concrete quality, asphalt durability, or steel integrity will be part of your routine tasks. Additionally, you will analyze data such as survey reports and topographical information to plan transportation systems or hydraulic structures following construction standards using design software.
We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who can prepare public reports on bid proposals, environmental impact statements, property descriptions, etc. Your role will involve preparing daily site reports, weekly Minutes of Meeting with the team members discussing progress updates or challenges faced during the week. Furthermore, you will be responsible for generating daily and weekly Productivity Reports along with quantity take-offs for invoicing purposes.
