As an Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer at TAQA Arabia, you will be responsible for overseeing electrical and instrumentation construction activities to ensure compliance with Aramco standards. Your key responsibilities will include reviewing electrical engineering drawings, designing electrical systems, developing Process Instrumentation and Control documentation such as P&ID, logic diagrams, control narratives, IO signal list, cable list, and control panels. You will also support site installation, site acceptance tests, function tests during Test & Commissioning phase, and coordinate with subcontractors, third-party vendors, and system owners.
The ideal candidate for this position should have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and must be an Ex-Aramco professional with experience in Aramco projects. A good knowledge of Process Control & Automation (PLC) applications is required. Additionally, the ability to perform SCADA integration & PLC programming updates will be advantageous. Strong foundational knowledge of electrical and electronic principles is essential for designing, troubleshooting, and maintaining complex control systems for industrial processes. Effective communication skills are crucial as you will collaborate with diverse teams to implement and optimize instrumentation solutions across industries like manufacturing, energy, and petrochemicals.
