Lead Planner

TRS Staffing Solutions is currently seeking a Lead Planner for a prominent international EPC company operating in the mining construction sector within Saudi Arabia. Our client is known for its innovative approach and technical excellence, playing a vital role in delivering complex projects across energy, infrastructure, and industrial developments. As a Lead Planner, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules that align with objectives and timelines. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to gather essential information for accurate planning, monitor project progress, identify delays, and implement corrective actions as needed.

In this role, you will prepare detailed reports and presentations on project status while utilizing advanced planning tools to optimize schedules and resource allocation. Compliance with regulations, standards, and best practices is crucial. Leading planning meetings and workshops to foster collaboration and effective communication among team members will also be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, providing mentorship and guidance to junior planners is key to ensuring successful project execution.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in engineering, Project Management, or a related field (a Master's degree is advantageous) along with at least 10 years of experience in project planning. A minimum of 5 years in a lead planning role on mega projects within the energy sector is required. Proficiency in planning software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project is necessary. Strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, decision-making skills, and the capacity to work effectively in a multicultural environment are essential qualities for success in this position. Middle East experience is also critical.
