We are currently seeking a Deputy Chief of Party (DCOP) for our operations in Sierra Leone. As the Deputy Chief of Party, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing various aspects of our operations in Sierra Leone. Your responsibilities will include providing expertise on constitutional and electoral reform, election administration, and observation. You will also be responsible for managing areas such as administration, human resources, logistics, procurement, grants management, security, compliance, budgeting and financial accounting, and IT. Additionally, you will supervise a team of finance, grants, operations and administrative professionals while ensuring compliance with DI and USAID policies.

In addition to your primary duties, you will have the opportunity to contribute to ongoing business development efforts at Democracy International both in Sierra Leone and globally. To qualify for this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree with at least 7 years of relevant work experience. A minimum of 5 years working with USAID compliance requirements is required along with experience in project management and staff supervision. Strong interpersonal skills are essential for building relationships with stakeholders effectively. Fluency in English is necessary for this position.
