Director of Programs

We are seeking a Director of Programs who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and scaling tablet-based learning solutions to promote literacy and numeracy among children. Working closely with the Executive Director and Head of Programs in Sierra Leone, the ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset and extensive experience in program implementation within government and educational settings.

As the Director of Programs, you will oversee the rollout of tablet-based learning programs across Sierra Leone, ensuring high-quality implementation by developing project plans, managing budgets, timelines, and milestones. You will adapt implementation strategies to local contexts, recruit and train service partners and field officers, collaborate with schools and government stakeholders effectively while proactively addressing program risks.

In addition to program implementation, you will establish data collection systems to measure impact and effectiveness. Using data-driven insights, you will refine strategies for enhanced learning outcomes. You will also focus on capacity building by training internal teams, partners, and government officials on program methodologies. Building strong relationships with stakeholders including the Ministry of Basic and Secondary School Education (MBSSE) is crucial for long-term sustainability.
