Senior / Process Engineer

We are currently seeking a dedicated Senior / Process Engineer to join our team. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Technical & Planning, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing technical support for manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and environmental requirements. Responsibilities include overseeing plant performance, conducting root cause analysis for process failures, leading HAZOP studies, and driving plant optimization initiatives.

Key responsibilities of this role include issuing operating instructions, coordinating Safety Case activities, analyzing raw materials and utility consumption for efficiency improvements, planning trial production for new products or raw materials, conducting technical studies on process safety, and providing training for plant members and contractors. The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline with working experience in a chemical/polymer plant preferred. Entry-level candidates without experience will also be considered.

We are looking for individuals who are meticulous, self-driven, independent, and resourceful with excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Effective teamwork is essential in this role along with strong communication and presentation abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required. The position may require overtime work when necessary and willingness to work on Jurong Island.
