Senior Process Safety Engineer

We are currently seeking a Senior Process Safety Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be an integral part of our process safety team on various proposals and projects. Working closely with different departments and the process safety section, you will play a key role in managing Major Accident Hazards (MAHs) and preventing Major Accident Events (MAEs) throughout the facility's lifecycle.

As a Senior Process Safety Engineer at MODEC, your responsibilities will include developing and reviewing HSSE Design Philosophy and other process safety-related philosophies. You will provide guidance to proposals/projects to ensure compliance with company standards, client requirements, and regulatory safety systems. Additionally, you will be involved in developing scopes of work, performing technical bid evaluations for safety consultants, participating in workshops, planning safety studies, reviewing deliverables, and ensuring timely completion of all safety studies.

• Minimum of 5 years experience in process safety engineering within the oil and gas industry
• Experience with Major Accident Hazards (MAHs) and Major Accident Events (MAEs)

• - Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with safety standards
• - Excellent communication skills for presenting safety studies and recommendations
