As the Governance, Risk and Compliance Officer at Allan Gray Orbis Foundation, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the organization's risk management processes are robust and effective. You will assist with implementing risk management methodologies and maintaining the Enterprise Risk Management Framework (ERMF). This includes setting up risk assessments, managing risk incidents, and ensuring mitigation controls are in place. Additionally, you will oversee contract management by maintaining the contract vault, verifying contracts, updating information, and ensuring all contracts are signed and uploaded.
In terms of compliance responsibilities, you will review, update, develop, and approve policies and procedures to ensure regulatory adherence. You will maintain a document library with version trackers, track adherence to policies, update operational templates, advise management on compliance matters, manage action plans for audit discoveries and violations, oversee POPIA compliance concerns, implement Business Continuity Management plans, monitor adherence to disaster recovery plans. Furthermore, you will collaborate with functions and departments for proper records management to ensure compliance with data policies.
