Inbound Operations Manager

Clicks Group, a prominent retail and healthcare company in South Africa, is seeking a dynamic Operations Manager to join our team at the Inbound Department in Centurion DC, Gauteng. As the Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing inbound operations, warehouse management, inventory control, cost management, health and safety protocols, and people management to drive business objectives forward.

Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring the achievement of budgeted financial targets, optimizing productivity through effective resource utilization, and maintaining accountability for company assets. You will be tasked with analyzing business data to identify areas for process improvement and enhance financial performance. Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors, stores, and suppliers will be essential in resolving queries promptly and enhancing overall business performance.

Moreover, you will lead a team of Department Managers to uphold process compliance and adherence to company SOPs while overseeing various departments within the inbound operations. Managing labour brokers according to service level agreements and handling HR components such as performance management and talent identification will also fall under your purview. The ideal candidate for this role should possess at least 5 years of logistics experience at a middle management level with a focus on stakeholder management. Additionally, 3-5 years of inbound/outbound management experience in distribution centers or retail settings is required. • 5 years' experience in logistics at middle management level
• 3-5 inbound/outbound management distribution centre/retail experience
• 3 Financial Management/Cost control
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics Management or related field
• Certification in Health and Safety
• Experience with managing stakeholders such as labour brokers, transporters, vendors, etc

• Ensure achievement of budgeted and agreed financial targets
• Control and ensure accountability for damage and poor maintenance of company assets
• Deliver high levels of service to stores through accurate, on-time deliveries
