As the Logistics Manager at Hungry Lion, you will play a crucial role in managing logistics processes such as transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and order fulfilment. Your responsibilities will include demand planning, organising inbound and outbound logistics activities, and implementing best practices for warehouse management. You will work closely with various teams within the organization to forecast inventory needs, negotiate pricing for transport services, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. This position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to make informed decisions to optimize resource utilisation and minimise costs.
The ideal candidate for this role will have a BCom Logistics/Procurement or similar qualification with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial logistics role. Proficiency in Google Workspace/MS Office is essential, along with bilingual skills (multilingual beneficial). Experience in quick-service restaurant operations and warehouse management is advantageous. International trade experience and willingness to travel are also required. The successful candidate must demonstrate competencies in resilience, problem-solving, decision-making, negotiation, collaboration, emotional intelligence, planning and scheduling, adaptability, financial management, attention to detail, analytical skills as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.
