We are in search of an Operations Manager for Pretoria, encompassing Polokwane, Potchefstroom, Witbank, and Tshwane. This pivotal role demands a strategic leader adept at overseeing day-to-day operations, driving efficiency enhancements, and upholding top-tier quality standards. The ideal candidate will excel in managing diverse teams while ensuring operational excellence within our dynamic JHB team.

Responsibilities include enhancing operational systems and processes to boost efficiency, coordinating driver allocation to meet client SLAs, overseeing driver operations for optimal outcomes, managing operational budgets effectively, supervising direct reports for performance excellence, fostering strategic partnerships with suppliers and vendors aligned with organizational needs. Strategic goal-setting and data analysis are key components to identify profitability opportunities while maintaining high-quality production outputs through KPI monitoring.

The ideal candidate holds a National Senior Certificate or Grade 12 Matric alongside tertiary qualifications in Business, Logistics, Transport or Supply Chain Management. With over 10 years' proven experience in logistics/courier industry operations management and team leadership within fast-paced environments. Essential skills include proficiency in MS Office packages, self-motivation with goal orientation, strong attention to detail, exceptional communication (verbal & written), effective leadership abilities encompassing conflict management and decision-making skills. • Proven 10 years’ experience in operations management within the logistics / courier industry
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience managing people / teams in a fast-paced environment
• National Senior Certificate / Grade 12 Matric
• Tertiary qualification in Business, Logistics, Transport or Supply Chain Management

• Improve operational management systems (app and dashboards), processes, and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
• Plan driver allocation to ensure client Service Level Agreements (SLA) are adhered to
• Monitor and supervise the driver operations to ensure optimal outcomes
