Rheinmetall, a leading manufacturing company in South Africa, is seeking a dedicated Plant Manager for their facility in Boksburg. As the Plant Manager, you will oversee all manufacturing and operational activities within the plant, ensuring efficient resource scheduling and optimization to meet production goals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all daily activities and operations within the plant, working closely with the production planning section to prepare and manage production schedules.
- Monitor production against the Master Production Schedule, identifying risks to delivery deadlines and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Control operational overheads and labor budget/forecast, as well as direct manufacturing costs.
- Provide inputs to the CAPEX budget and oversee compliance with relevant legislation and SHEQ systems.
- Recommend process and equipment changes through official modification processes, coordinating plant modification initiatives as needed.
- Address HR-related issues that cannot be resolved at the supervisor level, ensuring performance contracting is maintained according to HR procedures.
