We are currently looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join our team and play a crucial role in streamlining our production processes, enhancing quality control measures, and improving overall operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in plastic injection molding or similar industries, as well as expertise in lean manufacturing principles to ensure smooth workflows and cost-efficient operations.
As the Operations Manager at Roto-Plastics, your key responsibilities will include overseeing production, quality control, supply chain management, and logistics across various departments. You will be tasked with implementing strategies to improve manufacturing efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize operational workflows using methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma. Additionally, you will work closely with different teams like sales and customer service to ensure seamless order fulfillment and maintain high client satisfaction levels.
To excel in this role, you must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Management or a related field along with at least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production management position. Strong leadership skills are essential for leading department heads effectively while fostering a culture of accountability and excellence within the organization. Knowledge of ERP systems, production planning techniques, and cost control measures is also required to succeed in this role.
