RPO Recruitment's client is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join their team. The Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring that financial information is accurate and reports are submitted on time. This role is critical to the company's success and requires someone who is detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work well under pressure.
Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of the company's financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company policy, as well as local and international financial standards
Manage the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
Establish and maintain strong relationships with banks and other financial institutions
Oversee the process of accounts payable and accounts receivable and ensure accurate record keeping of all transactions
Manage and train the finance team, ensuring that they are equipped to perform their duties efficiently and effectively
Analyze and interpret financial information, making recommendations to senior management on financial performance, budgeting and forecastin
Requirements
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in financial and accounting management
Must be a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or have relevant certification such as CIMA, CPA
Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS and other international accounting standards
Experience in managing a team of finance professionals
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
