QUALIFICATIONS
• Fluency in Turkish & English written & spoken
• Additional language knowledge is preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Science, or Hospitality Management / Revenue Management
• Strong knowledge of Opera, Word, Excel, Ideas, and other required systems.
• Proven experience in analysis
• Strong local competition information is required.
• 3 years in a Managerial role or heading Sales & Marketing department with experience in 5* luxury hotels.
• Preferably with experience in Middle East market
• Understanding of online distribution channels
• Must be adept at analyzing and presenting large amounts of data, drawing conclusions, and creating recommendations and strategies from the data discoveries
• Ability to meet deadlines consistently
• Pro-active and taking initiative
• Must be organized and ability to work and follow systems and procedures
• Must be adaptable to change of strategy, ideas, systems etc.
• Professional sales and presentation skills
• Must be guest service oriented
• Proficiency in organizational planning with the ability to multi-task.
• Understands the local culture and have worked in the region with Turkish nationality.
JOB DESCRIPTION
• Developing sales strategies for each market and sector in line with Address Istanbul's positioning strategy. Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of aggressive demand programs focused on increasing business.
• Developing a sales strategy compatible with Address Istanbul's positioning strategy for each market and sector.
• Ensuring that the revenue budget is met and exceeded and adjusting the expense budget efficiently as needed. Assisting customers prior to and during the program/event to set an example in customer service by ensuring that their satisfaction is at the highest level.
• To ensure accurate, timely, and complete information by carrying out the budget forecasting process together with the Finance Department.
• Operationalizes hotel and corporate pricing strategies through definition and management of rate levels, stay restrictions, and other tactics, which are congruent with demand factors, managed through all distribution channels.
• Develops fundamentals and provides guidelines to maximize revenues related to the sale of catering events, function space, and all other revenue streams at the Hotel.
• Conduct annual reviews, recommend appropriate succession plan for Employee(s) development in order to ensure sustainability of reservation department; provide suggestions for improvement, identify barriers to its success, and ways to overcome these.
• Monitor and report results of any incentive programs in place; responsible for making sure integrity of program is maintained, and that all requirements are followed.
• Follows company policies and procedures.
• Plays an active role in the Strategic Planning, Marketing Plan, and budgeting processes.
