Director of Sales and Marketing

About the job
We are looking for a "Sales and Marketing Manager" for our luxury hotel group operating in tourism in Muğla - Göcek. In the summer season, Göcek is in a position to transition to Istanbul in the winter season.



Account management of both existing and new self-assigned accounts
Understand the needs of each hotel in the territory to help the Sales Team develop and implement a sales strategy based on their needs,


Requirements


Develop the hotel(s)’ sales strategy and ensure implementation that will market share performance and profits.
Follows up the all-time relevant portfolio of new and existing clients
Direct Sales team and ensure they meet the targets set in the annual marketing plan;
Ensures new business transacted via the international is identified deand researched for future potential
Plan and where appropriate, execute sales trips to key existing market areas and identify new potential market areas
Develop CRM system and manage activities for hotels within the group
Provides strategic direction as it relates to channel management and sales distribution of all market segments
Effectively communicates strategies to the sales organization.


Qualification


At least 10 years’ experience within the hospitality industry
At least 8 years of experience in the Antalya market
Excellent written and verbal local language as well as English
Strong leadership skills.
Strong strategic, analytical and forecasting skills.
Able to develop objectives and make strategic decisions and recommendations based on facts, market trends and experience/knowledge.
Able to develop and mentor Sales Team.
Effectively develop, implement, monitor and control sales strategies.
Effective time management, communication and presentation skills.
Ability to present ideas in a well-organized manner.
Creative problem solving skills.
Understands the hotels’ business mix needs and the “brand”.
High energy level, self-motivated, articulate and presentable.
Enjoys working in a team environment.
