What Do We Expect from Our New Team Member?
Oversee and steer business development and project development functions of Esan
Coordinate growth strategy, medium- and long-term objectives with executive committee while identifying and evaluating mineral assets and investment opportunities to advanced construction or operating stages.
Provide guidance to annual business plans to ensure translation of strategy into defined initiatives, action plans and short-, medium- and long-term forecasts which deliver the objectives and targets
Provide holistic view on all functions, accelerate growth including Business Development, Study Management, and EPC Management
Responsible for overseeing engineering studies (scoping, pre-feasibility and feasibility) for new mineral projects in line with strategy
Responsible for transition from mineral resources to mineable reserves to support business case and be responsible for preparation of technical and financial components of business case
Enable the delivery of growth projects (development or acquisition of new assets) from early stage to handover of the asset to business unit
Lead corporate evaluation and conduct peer review of projects presented by SBUs while also initiating dialogues with the governmental bodies in target countries where licenses may be acquired through auction.
What kind of teammate are we looking for?
Min Bachelor Degree in Mining Engineering
Min 15 years of experience in the industry, min 10 years in management roles
Preferably experience in new project development, project management, EPC management
Experience in merger and acquisition activities of mineral assets
Excellent verbal and written English skills
