We are seeking a dynamic Head of Sales and Marketing to lead our ambitious growth and sales initiatives at Interesting Engineering. This role is at the intersection of content, technology, and commerce, focusing on both audience development and sales execution. Job Responsibilities:



Oversee and optimize our content strategy across all digital platforms, including social media, websites, and newsletters, while also developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies to achieve our business goals.
Lead efforts to grow and engage our audience, utilizing analytics to refine content and sales strategies. Develop and execute innovative social media content strategies, actively manage social media accounts, and engage audiences with compelling content to drive traffic and elevate our digital presence.
Identify and develop leads, understand client needs, develop value propositions, structure deals, and close sales. Drive all phases of the sales lifecycle, from initial contact to sealing the deal, while cultivating robust relationships with publishers.
Collaborate closely with content creation, marketing teams, and sales units to tailor content and sales approaches for maximum appeal and alignment with our strategic goals. Channel publisher feedback to product and tech teams to ensure our offerings resonate with market demands.
Implement and analyze digital marketing campaigns and design multi-channel campaigns to grow subscriptions and audience engagement. Provide detailed campaign reports to stakeholders.
Manage and mentor the social media,marketing and sales teams, optimizing the organizational structure and aligning strategies and goals across departments.


Qualifications:



Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
6+ years of experience in social media marketing, with a focus on content creation, strategy, and a minimum of 2 years in sales or related roles.
Proven track record in managing various digital marketing campaigns and demonstrated sales prowess.
Strong management, negotiation, problem-solving, and team leadership skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Google Analytics, SEO strategies, AdWords, and familiarity with digital advertising and publishing sectors.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Strong analytical capabilities, with a passion for data-driven decision-making and a goal-oriented mindset.
