As the Director of Engineering, you will lead our Engineering and New Product Development Team, working closely with various functional leaders within the company such as product management, production, service, sales, and marketing. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our products and technologies remain at the forefront of innovation while meeting customer needs. You will provide technical vision and leadership for existing and emerging products by collaborating with the marketing team to develop product specifications based on market feedback and customer requirements.

In addition to overseeing new product development processes from conception to release, you will also manage engineering resources effectively to meet project requirements. This includes identifying qualified vendors for components, overseeing prototype development activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and certifications like CE and UL, as well as managing design verification test plans. Furthermore, you will provide hands-on project management for all development programs and research activities while maintaining engineering documentation standards.
