As a Production Engineer at Caliberly, you will play a crucial role in selecting healthy cockerels and hens for fertilization. You will be responsible for tending to newly hatched chicks and monitoring their growth and development. Additionally, you will design specialized cages for egg production, ensuring that eggs are processed efficiently and meet quality standards before being packaged for shipment. Your duties will also include feeding, watering, and monitoring the health of the chickens to ensure optimal growth and productivity.
In this role, you will be responsible for tracking food consumption, body weight, and other factors to breed lean, healthy chickens for meat processing as well as fertile layers for egg production. You will record data on chicken size, health status, and breeding outcomes to identify which breeds produce the highest quality offspring.
