Job Purpose

The job holder is responsible to assist the Senior Auditor in conducting internal audit assignments in line with the approved Internal Audit work program.


Principal Responsibilities

 Participate in the planning, execution, and reporting of audits in accordance with internal audit standards and best practices.
 Conduct interviews and walkthroughs with process owners to gain an understanding of business processes and identify key areas of risk.
 Perform audit tests and procedures to evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and risk management processes.
 Document audit findings and recommendations and communicate them to the Senior Auditor for review and further action.
 Assist in monitoring the implementation of audit recommendations and provide regular updates to the Senior Auditor.
 Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and corporate policies.
 Assist in the development of audit programs, policies, and procedures.
 Work collaboratively with other departments to identify and address issues and concerns.
 Provide support and assistance to less experienced team members as needed.


Self Management Responsibilities:

 Defines performance goals at the start of the year in discussion with the Line Manager and ensures that the goals are achieved during the year
 Identifies the training and development requirements for self and agrees on them with the Line Manager to ensure that the required trainings are arranged and attended
 Strives to achieve the highest levels of proficiency on all the competencies and skills required to perform the role


Candidate experience



• 5- 6 years of internal audit experience
• Must have experience auditing construction projects

• Preferably with big 4 audit firm experience
• Preferably with data analytics experience
