With a focus on delivering high-quality construction projects, we are seeking a highly skilled individual with 10-15 years of experience in structural engineering, including at least 5 years in Abu Dhabi. As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for leading structural design, analysis, and modeling for various projects while ensuring compliance with international codes and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Structural Engineer at Black Pearl, your role will involve developing design concepts, initial framing layouts, and structural models for assigned projects. You will lead structural design, modeling, analysis, and calculations to ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards. Collaborating with architectural, MEP, and other discipline teams is essential to resolve design conflicts and integrate building systems seamlessly. Additionally, you will review and finalize construction drawings before issuance to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Furthermore, you will provide value engineering expertise to optimize designs for cost-effectiveness, constructability, and quality. Resolving site issues and discrepancies in project drawings in collaboration with site engineers is also part of your responsibilities. Managing 3D structural models using BIM software such as Revit or Tekla is crucial to ensure accurate detailing and annotations. You will prepare construction documents, generate detailed reports, maintain organized project documentation, enforce BIM standards through model reviews and quality checks.
