Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance. They will ensure accurate posting of transactions to the correct General Ledger account, prepare budgets, track actuals against budget, coordinate with internal and external auditors, finalize month-end and year-end closing tasks, prepare financial statements, and assist in tax filings. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Accounting with professional qualifications such as ACA, CPA, ACCA,CMA or CIMA. They should have a minimum of 6 years of experience in accounting and finance with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

• Bachelor's in Commerce/ Accounting with Professional qualifications ACA, CPA, ACCA, CMA or CIMA
• Minimum 6 years of experience in accounting and finance out of 2 years in a supervisory role in accounting and finance
• Experience in Big 4 audit/accounting firm

• - MS Office, MS Dynamics 365 (ERP) and PowerBi proficiency required
• - Knowledge of IFRS - International Financial Reporting Standards
• - Strong experience in overseeing day-to-day accounting activities, preparing financial statements, and coordinating tax filings
• - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
