We are currently seeking a Management Accountant to join our oil and gas/oilfield services division. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, the Management Accountant will play a key role in management reporting, financial analysis through dashboards, month-end closing activities, VAT compliance, IFRS adherence, revenue recognition processes, Incoterms/International Commercial Terms understanding, and ICV (In-Country Valuation) registration/certification related to ADNOC. This position goes beyond traditional accounting duties and focuses on providing valuable financial insights to support business decision-making.
The ideal candidate for this role will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial records are maintained in accordance with IFRS standards. Duties include reviewing month-end financial reports produced by the Group Accounting Services team, coordinating with operations for asset verification processes, preparing various financial reports using tools like Discoverer & Hyperion software and POWER BI. Additionally, the Management Accountant will assist in budgeting exercises by interacting with users and HR departments for input data collection. Collaborating closely with the BUFM (Business Unit Finance Manager), this role will also involve forecasting cash flows over three months period and supporting audit activities by coordinating with external auditors during annual stock counts.
