We are currently seeking a Lead Internal Auditor who will play a crucial role in our internal audit team. Reporting to the Head of Internal Audit or Senior Internal Audit Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining ongoing reporting processes. This includes reviewing and evaluating the performance of senior internal audit specialists, other audit staff, and external auditors engaged by the company. The Lead Internal Auditor will collaborate with auditee Heads, Managers, Directors, and Senior Officers to discuss audit scoping, interviews, results, fieldwork status, and action plans.
In addition to these responsibilities, the ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Engineering. A professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, CIA or similar is required. Candidates must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in conducting audits with at least 2 years serving as an audit lead or supervisor. The Lead Internal Auditor will also provide guidance on internal control development and best practices implementation while advising management on internal audit planning processes and techniques.
