As a Procurement Manager at NIO, you will play a pivotal role in leading and optimizing our sourcing and procurement operations. Your responsibilities will include developing innovative sourcing strategies to enhance procurement processes, identifying and managing profitable suppliers, negotiating contracts with external vendors, monitoring key performance metrics, analyzing market trends, managing costs effectively, assessing supplier performance regularly, and ensuring compliance with company standards. Additionally, you will be responsible for measuring cost savings achieved against budget targets, tracking supplier performance ratings based on quality metrics, monitoring procurement cycle times, evaluating contract compliance rates, managing spend under management effectively, promoting supplier diversity initiatives, mitigating risks associated with supply contracts efficiently.
The ideal candidate for this role will have proven experience as a Procurement Manager or similar position within the automotive industry. You should possess strong negotiation skills, exceptional communication abilities, proficiency with supplier management software and analytics tools, solid analytical capabilities for financial decision-making purposes. A Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or related fields is required along with at least 7 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management focusing on strategic sourcing. Multilingual proficiency in English along with Arabic/Hindi/French would be highly advantageous.
