We are currently seeking a Head of Procurement to manage and lead technical Materials Procurement activities at our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the preparation, tendering, and administration of Nuclear safety-related Materials and operational Materials to post-award activities. In this role, you will ensure that all requirements are met in terms of quality, delivery timelines, best practices adherence, and safety measures at our Barakah Nuclear Power Plant (BNPP). Additionally, you will advise the Materials category team on establishing long-term agreements to meet Nawah's procurement needs effectively.

As the Head of Procurement, your primary responsibilities will include managing and leading the procurement process for plant maintenance and modifications. This involves tracking, expediting, and ensuring timely delivery of materials while utilizing planning tools, maintenance management systems, and business information systems. You will evaluate Material Procurement needs and apply industry best practices to efficiently source materials within budgetary projections. Furthermore, you will support the Material Procurement team in understanding specifications and scope of work while integrating technical/quality requirements along with Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) standards into procurement documents.

To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field. Additionally, we require 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in procurement roles specifically tailored towards UAE Nationals.
