We are currently seeking an Assistant Manager of Finance to join our dynamic team and support the Finance Manager in maintaining the financial health of the group.
As the Assistant Manager of Finance, you will play a crucial role in assisting the Finance Manager with budgeting, allocation, and planning activities. You will collaborate closely with the Finance Manager to conduct advanced financial analyses and reports that determine the present and forecasted financial status of the group for senior management. Additionally, you will be responsible for strategic planning by producing insightful reports on the company's financial situation and setting both short- and long-term financial goals.
In this role, you will ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory obligations related to finance, including statutory accounting and tax issues. You will actively seek out cost-reduction opportunities while developing strong relationships with external contacts such as auditors and solicitors. Furthermore, your responsibilities will include supporting group-wide tax management efforts in alignment with FTA laws, coordinating monthly reporting processes, managing project budgeting activities, and establishing risk assessment policies.
The ideal candidate for this position is CA qualified with 6-8 years of experience in a Senior Finance role within a diverse Group Holding organization. A minimum of 2-3 years of UAE experience is preferred along with expertise in multiple industries covering B2B/B2C segments, IT/Technology trading, distribution, and service delivery. Proficiency in Tax and VAT matters, hands-on experience with leading ERPs such as Oracle or Microsoft, data analytics skills, financial reporting capabilities, and knowledge of IFRS are essential requirements for this role.
